INTENDED USE:	Anti-Alpha Fodrin IgG/IgA is an ELISA test system for the for the quantitative measurement of IgG and IgA class autoantibodies against Alpha-Fodrin in human serum or plasma.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW:	Alpha-fodrin is an intracellular, actin-binding, organ-specific protein of the cytoskeleton. Antibodies against Alpha-Fodrin are specifically detected in serum samples from patients with primary or secondary Sjögren’s syndrome with sicca symptoms. They can be detected very early, sometimes before appearance of SS-A or SS-B antibodies, which are known as important diagnostic markers for Sjogren's syndrome.
